Final details are being formed for our Hoyas in Northern California to hear and meet Gabrielle Toledano, executive vice president and chief talent officer at Electronic Arts. Joining Gabrielle will be Steve Cadigan, former vice president of talent at LinkedIn.

Gabrielle Toledano

Executive Vice President and Chief Talent Officer

Gabrielle Toledano, Executive Vice President and Chief Talent Officer, Electronic Arts is responsible for EA's global staffing and resourcing, benefits and compensation, organization and leadership capability development, rewards and recognition, Facilities and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Prior to joining EA, Ms. Toledano served as Chief Human Resources Officer for Siebel Systems. Prior to that, she served in human resources positions for six years with Microsoft Corporation and several years with Oracle Corporation. Her portfolio has included a wide range of HR assignments including international work, most notably in Latin America. Gabrielle is bilingual and received her bachelor and master degrees from Stanford University, followed by a Rotary Scholarship assignment in Santiago, Chile.

Gabrielle is on the Board of Directors of Big City Mountaineers, a non-profit focused on mentoring and outdoor experiences for disadvantaged kids.

Steve Cadigan

Former Vice President of Talent at LinkedIn

Steve Cadigan (http://www.linkedin.com/in/cadigan) is a seasoned Talent executive with over 25 years of global human resources experience. Steve has practiced HR in the US, Canada and Asia-Pacific and has worked on dozens of complex acquisition integrations around the globe. Most recently, Steve served as a VP Talent at LinkedIn for close to 4 years and took the company from a private firm of 400 employees through an IPO and into the powerhouse that it is recognized as today with over 5,000 employees. Steve was instrumental in laying the foundation of LinkedIn’s leadership team and culture, which has been repeatedly recognized as one of the core reasons for LinkedIn’s success. Prior to LinkedIn, Steve served as VP of HR at Electronic Arts for 2 years, and immediately prior to that for 4 years was the Global VP of HR for PMC-Sierra, based in Vancouver BC. Before working in Canada, Steve was with Cisco Systems for 6 years. During this time he was Director of HR for Cisco’s Asia Pacific region for 2 years (based in Singapore) and before that helped build Cisco’s world-class M&A integration team as Director of the HR M&A team. While leading Cisco’s M&A HR team for 4 years, Steve’s team led over 50 acquisitions and was recognized repeatedly for world-class acquisition integration practices. Prior to Cisco, Steve served in HR roles at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company and ESPRIT. Steve has been repeatedly recognized for building world-class teams, cultures and organizations. He holds a BA in History from Wesleyan University and an MA in HROD from the University of San Francisco. Today Steve spends his time mentoring & coaching leaders while also advising companies going through rapid growth.

Chris Curtin

Global Head of New Platform Marketing Transformation and Chief Digital Officer

Chris Curtin is the Global Head of New Platform Marketing Transformation and Chief Digital Officer at Visa Inc., where he is responsible for shaping Visa’s marketing strategy to drive adoption of digital-payment products and platforms in new channels and with financial institutions, merchants, mobile networks operators, and mobile device manufacturers.

Most recently, Curtin was Senior Vice President of Marketing Strategy, Innovation and Operations at HP, where he developed and executed HP marketing strategy, customer engagement, multi-purpose innovation and helped drive the HP brand in existing and emerging channels. His oversight included marketing operations, digital and social media, mobile marketing and HP.com, the company’s global web flagship.

Prior to HP, Curtin was Vice President of Global Media & Technology at The Walt Disney Company, directing the company’s new media marketing and technology initiatives. In his 13 years at Disney, he also managed global media buying, planning and digital-channel initiatives. He served as the principal architect behind a plan to move Disney Destinations into the digital space; structured and implemented Disney Travel on Demand, the first interactive travel cable channel; and launched Disney’s first external commitment to user-generated brand marketing via a Disney Parks channel on YouTube. He served as a special adviser to Michael Eisner as Vice President of Corporate Synergy and Special Projects.

Chris earned a B.A. in political science from Denison University and a juris doctor degree from Georgetown University.
